My mind slowly regains consciousness as the east-facing bedroom window opens it's arms wide in welcome to the radiance pushing it's way through. Even the curtains are no match for the warmth that slowly, then steadily penetrates my being. My mind fights to return to the peace of slumber, but the excitement of the morning lures me ever closer to the new day's promise. It is infectious, this intensity that penetrates my mind and bores deep into my soul only to rise up again and fling my eyes wide open. Pieces of glitter sparkle in the morning rays and a smile graces my lips as I again close my eyes in contentment. "Good morning, Heavenly Father.""Because of the Lord's faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness!" - Lamentations 3:22-23
