Our husbands were sent to Houston for a conference so my friend and I decided we would take a girl's trip! Not to mention, we were tired of the cold, wet, Irish winter. We visited the beautiful, sunny Canary Islands which are a part of Spain. They are dormant, volcanic islands that sit off the coast of Morocco. While we were there, I introduced Robyn to two things, Spanish Paella and Zumba! For those of you who are familiar with Zumba, let me just tell you: I have done Zumba with Americans and with the Irish (who like to add a bit of Riverdance to the routine), but there is noone who can Zumba like the Spanish! Man, can those ladies move! Unfortunately I don't have pictures of us doing Zumba (goodness knows I don't want my picture taken when I'm shaking what the good Lord gave me), but I do have a picture of Seafood Paella. If you've never tried it, you should. It's absolutely delicious!
