Ireland

In August of 2011, just two weeks before our little country wedding was scheduled to take place, I was driving into the clinic for my last day of work before I moved to Chicago to start my newly married life when my sweet love called me. With a smile on my face I said hello and we began our morning chit chat as we did every week day on our commutes to work. What I didn't expect was the turn the conversation took on this sunny Tennessee dawn. "Well, I have some news.." Ryan began. "I know it's only two weeks before the wedding, but my work has just let me know they'd like us to move to Ireland for a short term business assignment." My mind reeled. Ireland? So soon? Is that even possible? Is that even a good idea? What am I thinking?! That's an amazing idea!! And so began a very hectic and harrowing scramble to get through the wedding, honeymoon, initial trip to Ireland to find a place to rent, a quick move into and out of our newly purchased condo in Chicago and subsequent unpacking and repacking that ensued. Two very crazy first months later, we nestled into our newly renovated Irish home in the quaint little seaside town of Dungarvan.
